We're Completing Important Maintenance to Serve You Better 

What You Need to Know for May 2nd through May 5th

At Kennebec Savings Bank, we are always working to improve your banking experience. From Friday evening, May 2nd until Monday, May 5th, we’ll be completing important maintenance to our banking systems.

This maintenance will help us bring you more efficient, secure, and reliable service—but they will also mean some temporary interruptions to the systems you rely on. 

 

We understand how important access to your accounts is, and we want to be sure you know what to expect and how to plan ahead.

How This May Affect You 

System maintenance will begin the evening of Friday, May 2nd and be completed on Monday, May 5th. Here’s what will—and won’t—be available during this time period: 
 

Debit Cards 

  • You can still use your card for purchases and ATM withdrawals. 
  • Fraud monitoring will remain active. 

ATMs 

  • ATMs will be available for cash withdrawals and deposits. 
  • Account balance information will be unavailable. 
  • Deposits made over the weekend will post to your account on the morning of Monday, May 5th. 

Online & Mobile Banking 

  • You may experience periods of downtime, especially overnight Saturday into Sunday. 
  • Certain features like Card Management, credit score, eStatements, and mobile deposit will be temporarily unavailable while online banking is offline. 
  • All balances and transactions will reflect correctly once everything is fully restored on Monday, May 5th. 

Zelle® 

  • Unavailable from Friday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. through late morning on Monday, May 5th. 
  • If you have scheduled or recurring Zelle® payments set for that weekend, please reschedule them in advance. 

BillPay 

  • Any bills you’ve already scheduled will process as planned. 
  • You’ll be able to access BillPay again once online banking is back up and running. 
  • If you need help with a bill payment during the maintenance period, our team can assist. 

Bank-by-Phone 

  • Unavailable from Friday, May 2 at 6:00 p.m. through late morning on Monday, May 5th. 

Credit Cards 

  • No changes. Your credit card will work as usual throughout the weekend. 

What Do I Need to Do? 

  • Here are a few simple things to consider before the weekend to avoid disruptions: 
  • Be aware that there will be delays in viewing card transactions in your online banking transaction history. Keep track of your spending and confirm that the transactions appear when systems resume normal functionality. 
  • Reschedule any Zelle® transfers that fall between May 2nd through May 5th.

Saturday, May 3rd: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 
Sunday, May 4th: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 
Monday, May 5th: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. 
Tuesday, May 6th: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
